EVENT PRODUCTION
Currently, Alberto serves as Executive Producer for the five annual signature events El Mundo Boston produces. These events have grown to not only become iconic community affairs within the Boston/New England landscape, but they now serve as the most effective outreach platforms for Corporate Boston to engage a growing Latino consumer base.
1995 - 2019
Partnered with the Boston Red Sox to create Latino Youth Recognition Days at Fenway Park. This nationally recognized community outreach program recognizes the academic achievements of Latino public middle school students. Red Sox players honor students in a pregame ceremony on the field as their names are read and posted on the jumbotron. The program has honored over 1,800 recipients and has given away over 17,000 Red Sox tickets to the community.
2004 – 2019
The El Mundo Latino Career Expo series, featuring top recruiters and qualified candidates, are the largest job fairs/career expos in the region. Featuring over 45 recruiters and exhibitors, each year the Latino Career Expo yields hundreds of career and employment opportunities for the community.
2007- 2019
The annual El Mundo Latino Family Festival at Fenway Park is the largest cultural event of its kind in New England, and the only event of its kind in the country. The festival provides a unique cultural, musical and culinary experience for 10,000 Latinos at America's Most Beloved Ballpark – Fenway Park. The mega-event is really three events rolled into one: an on-field concert; a VIP reception and a health and fitness family festival.
2010 – 2019
The annual Hispanic Heritage Breakfast, which has become one of the most important events for corporate Boston to come together with more than 500 of the area's top influencers in attendance. The event includes a popular “roast” of the area's top leaders in politics, business, media and the community. Past participants include: Presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker and Boston Mayor Marty Walsh. For the past two years, a half-hour recap has been broadcast on Channel 7, WHDH Boston.
2016 – 2019
The Latino 30 Under 30 celebration has been hailed as a “game-changer” for the Boston landscape. For the past four years, Alberto has overseen a remarkable team, led by Elvis Jocol Lara, to bring about an extraordinary evening to recognize 30 young Latino leaders - all under the age of 30. The event’s unique format and festive and electric vibe has become the perfect platform to honor the nation’s brightest and most influential young Latino trailblazers.
